Course done, certificate in hand—now what? This guide walks you through the final steps to make sure your completion gets properly submitted and accepted.

1. Download and Review Your Certificate

Once your course is complete, your certificate is instantly available for download. Before sending it to the court, double-check:

  • Your full legal name is spelled correctly
  • The course title matches your court order
  • The date of completion is accurate

If anything looks off, contact our team immediately. We can make corrections quickly—before it becomes a problem with the court.

2. Submit Your Certificate to the Right Place

Courts differ in how they accept documentation. Common options include:

  • Emailing it to a designated clerk or probation officer
  • Uploading it via an online court portal
  • Delivering a physical copy in person or by mail

If your paperwork doesn’t say how to submit your certificate, call the court to ask. Submitting to the wrong place could delay your case resolution.

3. Follow Up and Confirm Receipt

After submission, don’t assume everything is fine—follow up! We recommend:

  • Calling the court or checking your online case status
  • Saving email confirmations or delivery receipts
  • Keeping a backup copy of your certificate, just in case

Courts are busy, and paperwork can get overlooked. Following up shows responsibility and helps you avoid surprise issues later.

4. What If the Court Has Questions?

Don’t panic—if the court asks for clarification or documentation:

  • Ask for the specific reason in writing
  • Forward the request to our support team
  • We’ll work with you—and directly with the court, if needed—to resolve it

You’re not alone. We’re here to support you until your course is fully accepted and your obligations are complete.

5. You’re Done—Now What?

Once your certificate is accepted, you’ve officially completed your court-ordered education. That’s a big deal—acknowledge your progress.

Here are a few things you might consider next:

  • Save a digital and printed copy of your certificate for your records
  • Ask the court for a final case update to ensure all requirements are satisfied
  • Consider taking additional classes voluntarily to strengthen your future (we offer advanced options too)
